Somewhat of a backpack junkie, here.
For non-motorcycle use - I recommend Crumpler (an Aussie brand that is pretty cool)

For motorcycle use, there is one clear choice, imho - Kriega!

Purpose built in UK for motorcyclists.

The harness system is unique and particularly well adapted for riding (takes the weight off the shoulders - very secure - well made - no rivals, imho)

I've got the R25 (use it for commuting on a daily basis)
and just picked up the R35, for those times when I need a bit more space.

Prefer the front latching mechanism of the R25 - just snaps into place.
(the R35 has a zipper / velcro fastening system)

Both are great backpacks.
Both fit my 15" MacBookPro just fine.

I'm confident that you will like their products - they get rave reviews everywhere.

Ride safe.

Ive been looking as well and I narrowed it down to either the alpinestars tech aero or the alpinestars charger. Really well made and wont move around alot when your shifting your weight on the bike. I just noticed your from Calgary, I`m up in Grande Prairie and was just down there picking up a hypermotard evo sp about a month back. Really nice Ducati dealership down there.

MCN Product review: Kriega R25 rucksack
By James Keen - Parts & accessories 24 March 2010 14:46

Kriega R25 rucksack, £85
Miles covered/time: 1500 miles/five months

What’s good? Let’s not get carried away – it’s just a rucksack – but the R25 is a joy to use. Everything about it says quality.

Save cash on motorcycle rucksacks
The Quadloc harness system helps spread the weight, so on a recent tour of Vietnam I wore it packed full of stuff all day and barely noticed it was there.

It’s waterproof, compression straps keep it stable and it’s big enough to take my laptop on the commute.

Plus the massive push-button buckles are easy to open and close, even with gloves on.

What’s not? To me 85 quid is a hell of a lot of money for a rucksack, but when you compare it to other biking backpacks on the market it’s not crazy – especially since it comes with a 10-year guarantee.

But unlike a normal rucksack, it sometimes feels like overkill if all I’m carrying is my sandwiches.

Hands down the best backpack ever-Boblbee.com
I have a Megalpolis, they are great hardshell packs with a ton of room, and you can get all sort of add-ons to expand them. Plus they act as a back protecter just in case anything bad happens.

+1, I have had mine for about two years now and it is the best backpack I have ever had. Everything from mountain biking and snowboarding to cruising the town, it looks the part, is a C.E. rated back protector, and it keeps your stuff safe! It is really water resistant and with the additional rain cover it keeps everything inside dry and warm like fluffy baby bunnies.

I like the Axio Fuse. But the Kriega looks very nice too.
