the best earbuds
I listen to a small cheap fm radio about the size of an i-pod.I have the hjc bluetooth helmet and was looking at the round pads that you stick on the inside of your helmet instead of putting buds in.I have a place in my helmet for em,and i can run the wires through the helmet.Iam trying to get away from having to put the buds in and trying to keep em in.Does anyone have these stick on ear pads and how do they work.Or does anybody know of an resonaibly priced radio that i can mount to my helmet like the rider to rider radios.

I know your title doesn't quite fit what your asking but, the best ear buds out there are the Etymotic ER6i's.
Etymotic Research, Inc. - ER•6i Isolator Earphones
They are so good they should be illegal. Comfortable, stay in place and are so good I find I can listen to any type of music, even classical, at low levels at any speed.

I wired some decent quality Radio Shack headphones in my helmet. I just tore the headphones down and took out the speakers then soldered wires to the speakers and placed them in my helmet. I think the headphones were about $40 on sale.

+1 those buds are the sh!t, act as ear plugs to protect your ears from the road noise and give crystal clear sound

I didn't have the cash for the pricey earbuds. So I picked up a pair if the skullcandy full metal jacket and fit them with a pair if the comply t400 foam earbud covers. Maybe not as awesome as the ero models but is was vert cost effective. I'll be testing them on the bike soon

LOL. The OP isn't getting the answers for his question, but you're probably getting some better suggestions with inner ear monitors talked about here. I use Shure SE530s, but I haven't ridden with them yet.
I understand that there is a safety factor with riding with plugs because the sound around you is blocked out. What is your response for this, guys? Don't you feel that with these plugs/earbuds, you loose valuable and potentially life saving sound that you would hear around you?
