Motorcycle Helmet Whistling any Suggestions
OK in a moment of weakness I purchased an AGV SV Stealth. It is without doubt a summer helmet and vents well with no misting. BUT it whistles like a WW2 bomb.
I have checked the seal between the visor and the seal and found a gap across the front top of about 2.5 inches and on the top sides of about 1.5 inches. I have adjusted the visor mechanism to make this as flush as I can. Covering with a had proves this is the visor. Any ideas?

Have found that with the cheap helmets...
Bought a better one and much less wind noise...
I wonder if those near or over $1,000 helmets are silent...
That can be as annoying as you let it get to you...
Some clear silicone maybe on the visor , you could always peel it off...and reapply

Try tape on the vents first...peel it off one vent at a time till you find your culprit.
Do the base plates for the shield adjust?

Like I said some day you will get a Good one
Just kidding ... I am floored to see a $1.000.oo + price sticker on some helmets and wonder how much better they are..and WHY?
The cheapies Less than $100.oo and around that just seem to be not enough money for a Saftey Item...( with the mark up)
You can buy clear duct tape and layer it up to the proper thickness trim it up with a razor. no one will know but you, unless they get real close...

I knew I'd seen something on this issue so I went and dug this up. You might find it helpful.
