Help me get the correct size boots this time?
My shoe size is 11 in Nikes, 10-1/2 in other brands.
My boots (Prexport) come in euro sizes, so I looked at the tag in my Nikes and ordered a euro-45. When the boots arrived, they were euro-45 but also tagged US-12 and were way too big.
Can somebody with a similar shoe size recommend whether I need to go down to a 44 or even further to a 43?
I'm in a rural area where it's not really possible to go to a shop and try boots on.
Thanks for any help.

I have found 45 in most brands match me for a US 11. 44 should be 10.5 and I think 43 would not work for you.

Yeah, I see on most brands the size 45 matches 11, so Prexport must have funny sizing if their 45 is a 12.
Unfortunately they don't have a size chart on their site that I can find.

I'm between a 10.5- and 11 American.
A Stars boots in 44 fit me Great ! I couldn't find a good fit in Sidi - So, I stay with A-stars ! Try em when you can.

Same here and Euro 45 in Sidi fits me really well. A 45 in Frey Daytona fits but are a bit more roomy until you use some inserts. Alpinestars have always jammed my toes together. Bottom line is you have to try anything you wear IMHO.

For me, Dainese 45 worked for my 10.5 - 11 US size. No different from buying regular shoes, the best is to find a store that has the boots and try them. Is worth paying a bit more and getting the best fit, plus you support the local business. Problem is that fore some folks stores are nowhere close. In my case, mid last year, there was no store with Dainese, Sidi, or Puma in the area I live. Bought my boots during a business trip to Paris where there was plenty of stores to check.

I have never been able to take a certain size from one make or model and have it match up for a different make or model.
Plus a running/basketball shoe will fit different than a boot or a dress shoe.
Good luck getting the sizing right. I was the same way with my Dainese 1 piece. I was scared to order online because I had heard/knew the size of my Alpinestars gear would not match the Dainese sizing. I got lucky and found a place that actually stocked the Dainese suit I wanted (and got it for 250 less at the time!!)
