Buyers Beware www.motorcyclestyle.com!

Well I appear to have been ripped off for about 200.00 in gear. Not a lot of dough but it really pi**es me off. I hope this will save someone else here from making my mistake. I know now to check BBB before ordering stuff from a company I am not familiar with. I have sent 5 emails and tried to call several times to find the status of my order and it always goes to a voicemail box on the calls. I have not heard a thing from them since my last communication on the 29th of August and so I am exploring my rights on this transaction. This company also has a NY address. On my initial order they contacted me to tell me that one of the items I wanted was out of stock so I told them to subtract that item and send the rest. I received a reply the next day that it would be done that way and so all was good. I placed the order on the 28th of August btw. A company called Zedno cycle enterprise (The comapny's owners?) charged my visa account for the items purchased. I am keeping my fingers crossed on this but it does not look good from the Better Business Bureau report below.

credit card refund

Most credit card companies will give an instant refund while they track down the company. Don't wait to long.

Yep, go ahead and contact your ccard comapny. Tell them you want to initiate a chargebacka dn give them the details. Most ccard companies only give you a 30 day window from time pf purchase, so go ahead and get that started. If the company doesn't respond to them, then chances are great you will be able to redeem the refund. 200 bones is 200 bones anyway you look at it. Hope that helps.

I don't know if this is a typo or not but the are code is incorrect for Toronto ON. The correct area code is 416. I tried calling the number with the correct area code and there is no answer. This transaction is appearing suspicious and I would call my cc company to reverse the charges before its too late.

Thought I would follow-up. I started a claim with Visa last Tuesday. I sent another email to MCSTYLE and to Zedno and nothing still. I guess I will just wait for my claim's outcome and hope.

The same scam artists will probably form a new company with a different name and continue doing business as usual. That's why I would stick with a known company that's been in business for at least several years - even if some fly-by-night vendor's price is $10 less than a known vendor. Who wants the hassle?

Actually they had a pair of boots listed that I could not find anywhere else. That being said I agree with you about staying with known vendors.
