Puma 1000 v2 warranty?
Does anyone know what the warranty is on these boots? I've had them for about 4 months and the back calf mold broke off at the ankle.

had the same thing happen on my first pair... I had bought them from cyclegear they got me new ones. Did the little screw come out?

Actually, no. The calf part snapped at the bottom of the ankle...clean off. I'm going to go to CG tomorrow to see if they can help. I've heard great stories about folks who bought gear from somewhere else and CG fixed it or got it repaired. Otherwise, I'm going back to the dealership to talk to them about replacing them (I only got it from there on Black Friday because they had a huge sale on Ducati logoed gear).

So I went to my dealer and I have 3 options since these boots are discontinued.
1. Swap out the BACKING on my existing black/red boots with the black/white ones
(My boots would still be red and black, but with white PUMA lettering on the back)
2. Get brand new black/white boots that take at least 2 weeks to deliver
3. Get "new" ones like in #2 that are on display at DNA, but get them tomorrow
What do you think I should do?

I would exchange them for new ones. They are worth the wait.
I love my puma 1000 v2's. They are very hard to break in but once they do they are awesome! I got a smokin deal on mine only reason I got them. After the first month I thought to myself I would never pay MSRP for these boots. But after 3 months or so of using them almost everyday I thought to myself I would pay MSRP for them.
Just my 2 cents

Thanks for your input. I decided to order the new ones today and hold the white backs "hostage" until I get the new boots Also, when I bought them, they only had 10s so I'm going to try the 9.5s for a better fit.
