Ducati Indonesia Fun Race 2007 - 01
Actually it was not a “real race”. We call it Ducati Fun Race. The Race was held on July 8, 2007 and was a final activities of several Ducati Safety Riding Course activities which was packaged with some race flavour at the end of the activities. However, it was really in a real race climate since it become a supporting race in the the 2nd Round of Petronas FIM Asian GP (Asian GP for Supersport Class) at Sentul International Circuit, in Indonesia.
The participants are the Indonesian Ducati Club members and some Indonesian celebrities. Any Ducati bikes could participate and although they start at the same time, there will be a several class for each type of Ducati Bike.
For many of the participants it were their first time experience enjoying the race climate like that and it was so fun...!
These are the pics of several safety riding activities:

We still need some more practice on 30 Juni 2007:
Eko on his Monster 750:
Bayu on his Multistrada 1000DS try to takeover Didi (in this practice use his CBR):
Bona, a newcomer, guided by Dyan Dilato (the Trainer):
After several laps practicing, we were evaluated and got some more supervision:

Ok, this time (July 4, 2007) part of new racing suit have been ready. Lets practice waering the new racing suit….
Ahmad Jayadi, an Indonesian Supersport Racer try to ride a Monster S2R (800). Hm… this is a nice bike... I guess he has not try a Monster S4Rs which would be a lot nicer…
Official Free Practice (July 6, 2007).
Didi (ST2), I (Multistrada 1000DS) dan Ramos (Monster S4Rs):
This is Arie Yuwono, on a full standard Multistrada 1000DS. However, since he I also a real racer, he could ride about 7 socond faster than me with the same bike (+ free flow performance exhaust). Well.. my amateur riding skill was clearly reflected... Hahaha:

Hm.. although our race is not 100% serious, the real race climate was heavily felt ….
Dyan (Monster S4) dan Ramos (Monster S4Rs):
Didi (ST2) tightly competed with me and each of us enjoyed several taking over one to the other:
Eko (Monster 750) practiced seriously to improve his time lap:
Bona (Multistrada 620) comfort ride:

Ducati Indonesia Fun Race 2007 - 09
Just before start . Hm..It made me nervous:
The crowd after start…. The first turn was critical since there were still many riders in a big group and the almost no gap between one to the other:
At the beginning of the Race, Batu (No.2) and I (No.1), both with red Multistrada 1000DS still tried to be closed to Dondy (No.20) on his Superbike 999… But it was not too long, beside laft behind by Dondy, we also were not strong enough to hold Ramos (No.6) with 999 engine on his Monster…
The first group in front, consist of the real racers, still very close each other, but has made some gap with the second:

Not long after start 2 Superbike 999 rides were lead ahead…
I tried to be closed but they are too fast . While Ramos who were behind me with his Monster S4Rs also too fast and managed to overtake me easily in the first lap…
Left behind on the second group Bayu, Eko, Andre and I tightly competed with about the same or equivalent bike power and skill. Eko was taking over me in the middle of the Race:
Following Eko tight in 1 lap, he once lose his racing line and I took the opornunities to took over him. Hm.. that was nice…
