I was down at the Island last weekend to support the joint superbike\supercar meet. Ha! you most likely weren't there - I only noticed 20 or 30 bikes most being cruiser types, although I didn't lap the whole track.
Maxwell won both superbike races; he is some racer.
The thing of significance for me was that on Sun. we were able to sit on the grass, back up the hill a bit on MG corner and watch the racing and big screen without anyone obstructing our vision along the fence line. Actually, if desired one could have sat at one of tables up near the food caravans and seen just as well.
I wonder just how promoters can make money out of these sort of events and where that leaves us in thefuture.
