I don't see #1, how they could afford any race team at either of the top level racing series, especially MotogP, and #2, how it could possibly be of any benefit to them? They are a niche, niche player, selling very expensive niche bikes with low production ability. So why race at all? It's not like the added advertising will help them sell many more bikes IMHO.  In fact, it might hurt them if their products don't perform well.  Stay home and do what you do best: build beautiful and exotic but overpriced bikes as conversation pieces for people with a boat load of money.  There's nothing wrong with that.
