Ducati 1198R leads WSBK entries..

I was perusing thru SPEED's WSBK news and they state that the 2012 WSBK series will have 24 entires, 7 of which are Ducati's venerable 1198R. Next is BMW with 5 or 6 entries. Aprilia only 3 and Hnda 5 IIRC. That surprises me as I understand the Hondas are very much improved for 2012. It seems to me anyway, that WSBK is healthy and that's good. I hope MotoGP (which isn't healthy) doesn't impact WSBK's success with their new CRT addition.

I don't see it happening... if CRT were going to make a difference to MotoGP it will be a couple years before it does. IMO

I'm sure that I am not the first to recognize this but with the addition of CRT bikes I see Motogp racing becoming a class akin to endurance auto racing (24 Hours of LeMans, 12 Hours of Sebring, Petit LeMans, etc.). We now get to inherit all the problems auto racing has enjoyed with dissimilar vehicles competing in a single event. Lucky us!!!!
