Rossi wants to re-sign with Ducati

motogp.com · Rossi: "I have to win with Ducati"

Lets hope Rossi & Ducati can be mixing it more competitively this year, I hope they have done enough.

He really does not have much of an option , Honda and Yamaha will not sign him after what happened . Suzuki and Kawasaki are out of the picture , all that is left is CRT and they can't afford his salary, for the few years he has left in the sport.

I might be reading too much into it but I thought it interesting that he still left the door open to join a Japanese team the future (Wrooom interview) . He may be a great rider, but he is also a great businessman...keep your options open. He wants to go out a winner first. Brand loyalty is second. I can't fault him for that...

Given that he is still over a second off of Stoner and Zo...he is probably rethinking that.

^He's 1.2 back on Stoner, but 0.6 back on Whoregay... on a brand new bike.

As much as I like Rossi, I suspect this is a make or break year for him.

However, the new Duc seems to have done fairly well compared to the previous bike. Or else they are just putting on a really brave face.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a good fight this year. Hopefully with Spies giving George a hard time.

Could you imagine having Ferrari year after year begging you to come and drive one of their F1 cars. Really, just think about it. Now can you imagine how much you must love racing bikes to keep turning them down. I can't imagine.

Not to mention IF it happends Rossi will become the highest paid sports figure in the world. Ferrari pays way way more than anything in Moto GP.
