Motpo2 Spoiler!
motogp.com · 2011 Moto2 World Champion Stefan Bradl
Too bad for Marquez, would have been better if he could race, but Stefan still deserves the title.

Dude, not that I care, but you're about to get hammered for your Rookie move of not including SPOILER in the TITLE and NOT INCLUDING THE RESULTS.

Yeah it didn't come from a race though, Marquez isn't racing at Valencia. So I don't think anyone will be upset.

Congratulations to Stephan Bradl ,,,, World Champion ,,, Can't do or get any better than that.
GREAT early season results,,, then pegged back by Marquez, to the point of making a real race of it for the Championship. But Bradl hung in there, exercising smarts to avoid the skirmishes, and stay in the points every round.
Bradl is an "Accumulating" champion, and a worthy one.
Marquez ,,,, Has to be THE FIND of the 2011 season ,,,, all classes.
This rider has got talent by the truckload ,,, but a tad short on "Smarts" ,,, at this young age.
His "brain explosion" at Phillip Island was unbelievable. Lucky he was "Only injured",,, and not something a lot worse.
If he carries his 2011 form into next season ,,,, and learns from what happened at Phillip Island to mature him a bit quicker, then I think he'll be unbeatable for the Moto2 title next year.
Further to which ,,,, I think he'll be the next star of MotoGP, when he gets there in 2013. By then he'll have served a suitable apprenticeship, and still have youth on his side.
Repsol Honda are VERY good at unearthing talent, nurturing it, then reaping the rewards.

i agree... i'm really happy to see Bradl win it. It would have been cool to see Marquez out there, but i hear he still has a bit of the double vision going on...
And i too see him doing really well when he comes up to MOTOGP. I wonder if we will see another 3 rider factory?.. should be interesting to see how Honda sorts all of this out in the next year or so...

Yeah Marquez is definitely going places, I just hope Bradl is too. I don't know if it makes a difference but Marquez is on a Sutor with all of the other front runners except Bradl, and Marquez is getting the "new" parts first. Ofcourse this shouldn't take away from his talent too much. Bradl has been on a Kalex I believe. I hope Bradl makes it to Motogp too. Next season is gonna be good, plus I think Elias is coming back. Gonna be amazing!

Well done Stefan!
I was a little worried when Marquez started pegging him, back but it's the most consistent rider and often the one who suffers the least amount injuries that win championships.
Very proud to see a German motorcycle world champ! It's been a while.
