Let's hope one of the stipulations of his contract is that Melisa Paris gets a spot on the tech 3 Moto 2 team!

Other less dramatic sites are reporting it as "Doing a few laps". I don't think it's a "test", per say.
Melissa is doing a few laps on a Moto2 bike as well. So are a few moto journalists.
Nobody is seriously being considerd for anything.

why?? she is not exactly tearing up the AMA/DMG field.....and she has yet to do well on the world stage during her 2 WSS races.
I am all for her or any other trying out these bikes if they are fast/competitive enough....but for them to go out of their way for her to turn some laps because of who or what she is (Josh Hayes's wife or a popular female) is silly IMO.
I bet it was a bonus for him winning back to back titles AMA for Yamaha.

Blake Young was all over his tail. He'll get him.
I don't recall, but I think Young almost won?
Oh, this won't be as bad as Bostrom's appearance at Laguna..

Sounds more like this is a reward/thank you outing, as opposed to actual testing.

It's not a test, it's just some laps for fun. Melissa has sponsors and opportunities for the same reason every other rider does - she sells product. Professional racing is about selling product and nothing more. You can do it through results, personality, whatever - the whole point is to sell product. You have to give your sponsors some ROI and as long as they are happy that is what matters. There is no such thing as "deserve" in professional racing.
