If you get the Ducati package from Ducati.com it will probably have it on Friday. The website will have the entire Ducati Island schedule including that parade lap.....which is very over rated. Cool as it was to ride on the track, you can't really rail on it, way way way too many people out there putt'n around doing what you're supposed to on a parade lap.

this will be my first time at motogp. whats a good hotel to stay at? hopefully i will be riding up with some friends, and it will be a great first time

How crazy is the camping scene? Does it compare to any of the euro events?

Define crazy.
Not a lot of Party Hearty, if that's what you mean.
It was pretty mellow last year. I'm told that previous years were different, but I was only there last year at Fox Hill.
