Is Valentino's Misano Helmet Insulting To His Team?
So, Valentino shows up to Misano with Uccio in tow with his special edition helmet in the bag. When he pulls it out, there are comic book speech clouds full of swear words and damnations no doubt referring to the difficulties he's had this year.... how do you think this looks to his team, his mechanics, everyone who is rebuilding, reworking, redesigning his bike while busting their ass 24/7 trying to get it to work for him... and he makes a "special" helmet to commemorate how much things suck.
many ways to look at this of course... the italian forums are discussing this and I was curious to see what the thoughts are here.

Hopefully it will encourage them to pull there finger out, otherwise no success, no Rossi. Then Ducati will be even more hopeless than they are now.
I'd like to see the team create and start wearing their own headwear in response to Rossi's helmet that suggests Rossi needs to work just as hard to make it happen.

^LOL you could be on to something.
Now lets hope nobody chimes in about Stoner's appearance or this thread is going to go downhill fast.

You have to admit it, George was quite disrespectfull about that bike & sidecar his brother in law built for him
I remember the handle bars coming off in one particulat episode,. wonder if would have still happened with a cf frame ?

I dunno, I guess the helmet is just making the best of a bad situation and done in a light hearted way, not as a scathing attack. But I do agree that he seems to be complaining a lot this year! Obviously things aren't ideal, but that's racing!...

Oh snap Davy! Same expression and everything!
I'm actually hoping Rossi has taken a vow never to shave again until he wins a race on the Ducati... That growth could be a long-ass Moses beard in the making.
All in good fun.
