Why, because he has been outrunning Rossi all year?
What a great start and he just moved back into 5th.

Now to eighth. It doesn't matter if better than Rossi THIS year. Rossi has the championships. Hayden is good, just not a winner

Now I'm just embarrassed for both of them with the bike soooo unable to keep up.

How did Stoner do it? I know it was a few years ago that he was consistently fast, Is he not a development rider - is that why the bike is behind? He was inconsistent last year but did have impressive wins.

Stoner did it by Ducati having a bike that was prepared for the 800cc class before anyone else's and he's that good.
