Edwards & Capirossi To World Superbike?
I think that Indy might be Edwards last US GP. There is a lot of competition for his seat next year. Capirossi on the new Ducati 1199 sounds like it could be a possibility as well. Time will tell...

^^^Very true, Crutchlow certainly hasn't been outperforming him this year. Capirossi on the other hand...

They're talking about Bradley Smith taking Edwards' seat, but Crutchslow's on shakey ground after his string of DNF's.
I'm not interested in seeing Loris Crappyrossi on the 1199. Checa all the way.
I wonder who Edwards could be talking to. I know he was linked to Ducati before they folded the Xerox team...
Randy Depuniet is also considering WSBK.

There is going to be a lot happening next year in terms of MotoGP. Budgets are getting tighter and the teams with factory based bikes are all going to be grabbing kids from Moto2 and pushing out the "old-men" in favor of some young blood. We're also going to see a great divide in MotoGP with so far 8 new claiming rule teams. Obviously the first year of this claiming rule is going to be disastrous for the claiming rule teams, they have no chance of keeping up with the top factories, but only time will tell.
This all goes back to the initial subject, what to do with the old men? Bayliss vs Edwards round 3, 10 years later? LOL
I personally feel Edwards is still MotoGP material, but Capirossi should retire, he has no reason to head over to WSBK.

I thought Yamaha/Tech3 was going for Bradl.....or is Honda gunning for him?? (I cant keep them straight).
I cant see Smith on a big bike yet.....he just got on a Moto2 bike and he is not setting the world on fire IMO. I hope Iannone gets a MotoGP ride next year....and Tech3 would be a good fit.

I think Lin Jarvis wants Tech3 to develop either Laverty or Bradl like they did with Spies. Marc Marquez might go there too but he'll probably end up at Repsol Honda somehow. Either way, i'll watch WSBK if Edwards is racing there.

Maybe it is time for both to retire .I would like to see some younger blokes injecting some youth to wsbk series. For example Troy bayliss comes to mind .
