Capirossi time to go?

http://www.crash.net/motogp/news/170...ch_motogp.html

I'm thinking yes, give a younger guy a chance. I'm thinking it would be cool to see him mixing it up with biaggi and the rest of the old farts in WSBK.

What's everyone else think?

I'd love to see him on a decent bike in WSBK dicing it up with Biatchi.

He's definitely not MotoGP caliber anymore.

Guess which way I voted NSP?

I'd love to see Loris in WSBK and being competitive.

There isn't a doubt in my mind, Capirossi would fit right in WSBK no problem. He'd have an all new re-built confidence as he'd probably have a chance fighting for the front.

I'd like to see him on a Aprilia or something small and light, he's a small guy.

well I never expected you to say he should retire.

Capirossi is done IMO....Tye, I dont really see him being a factor in WSBK at this point. I cant see him running up with Biaggi, Checa, Melandri, Camier. he would just be near the back of the pack in an "easier" series (I dont mean WSBK is easy....I am saying MotoGP is consider the top and he would not drop down into WSBK and kick ass).

Last year he only finished 8 races out of 18.....it would be impossible for him to run 2 races in one day.

I think Capirossi has no more drive and thats his problem. He is sticking around MotoGP because he knows nothing else, he's been doing it for such a long time he just wants to keep rolling along.

I think if he was in a series where he could maybe be on the podium, I think there is a good chance he would be more interested.

Of course, WSBK is not MotoGP, so maybe he'd just retire and call it quits instead of racing in a whole different series, learning a new bike, etc.

I think he's sticking around for his 100th podium (he's at 99 now), but I can't see that happening unless more than half the field wipes out.

And he ain't a great rain rider, so its not like he has potential for getting a podium. Yea, I agree its not gonna happen!

hell.... if he was one of only 3 to start a race, I dont think he could finish it to take a podium.

That might be extreme, but he has gone downhill fast in the last 2 years. I really think he should hang up the towel before he ends up hurting himself or others. If he is not up to speed mentally and phyiscally, he should not go out on these kinds of machines.

HAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ohh you don't get motivation. He is completely unmotivated to do anything, just look at his face, look at his attitude. If you gave him motivation, he would step it up I have confidence. If Troy Bayliss can do it, Capirossi can do it.
