Pedrosa. He's all done. Disappointed!
motogp.com · Pedrosa doubtful for Assen as Aoyama prepares to step in
Looks like Dani's contention for the title this year is over... Sure, we're only approaching round seven in MotoGP but... If he's in doubt for Assen well...
I know a lot of his fans, (all three of them), are having trouble dealing with the anguish... and of course 'it's racing where shit happens'. But I thought he had real opportunity this year to give the title a real shake!
Feel a bit sorry for him. Maybe it's just me.
He's a hell of a rider, a little brittle in the bone department, but he seems like quite a good bloke away from the racing.
I hope that all the best is heading his way when he returns to MotoGP.
(That's sincere you jackasses).

As much as I don't care for Mr. Lukewarm it really sucks to see him dealt such a shitty hand, plus it's bad for the championship to have one of the aliens sitting it out.

Anyone watched Wind Tunnel last week when Dave interviewed Collin Edwards? He was asked about Dani since they both had similar injury and Dani still sidelined, here's my best memory of what Colin said: "We had same doctor do a surgery, both felt great after surgery but I hear there was a bicycle involved and some road rash on the face, I know nothing but that's what I hear"

Edwards is a legend!!! You see his post qualifying interview at Silverstone?
"Colin, how did you qualify 8th after braking your collarbone?
'Cause I'm badass'

That boy was hopped up on pills!
You gotta feel for Pedrosa. He was riding really well at the end of last season before his collar bone and then to have so many complications only to finally get it fixed and immediately break the other one! That will take the wind out of anyone's sails. I think Dani recognizes his title charge ended there in the gravel at Le Mans, so not a real reason to rush and come back to finish second again.

Wonder if Yamaha will keep him another year, they should!

All this talk of Edwards is BS. I've always like Colin but he was wide as kite on God only knows what to race at Silverstone. It shows in that performance of his on stage. Ibuprofen and a couple of beers doesn't make you Superman.
I'm not trying to take anything away from his gusty podium, but seriously, if he had to piss in a cup after the Silverstone race, he'd be fucked!
This may be one of the few times we agree Rob, but your absolutely right about Dani just finding his feet after one break, and then to suffer another, well... that's gonna knock you around.
I hope Pedrosa can regain his fitness and finish strong this year.
