MotoGP Silverstone 2011 - Spoiler!

Well the last GP race thread I started got shut down. Nothing unusual there.
Let's see if we can all keep the peace this round.

Stoner fluffed the start here last year with clutch problems.
Spies, Hayden and Dovi' all did well.
Rossi has never ridden a GP bike on this track.
Lorenzo won the race last year.
Oh yeah... And who can Sic' knock off this round?
I think Edwards is riding this round.

FP1 already underway.

Gday Tard,
I had heard a nasty rumor that you had been banned for a while :-) Glad to see that is was slightly exaggerated. Business as usual at Motogp, Casey has smashed the field again in FP1. Nicky did well as the best Ducati. Poor old Flossie is struggling a bit in FP1, but it is only FP1 I know he will get it together later on.

Its a mega-motorcycling marathon this Sunday night with the WSBK and Motogp both on Sunday night - there is a party on here then. Ducati, Yamaha, Suzuki and Honda riders will be here for the races (I am not really biased). I will make sure we have a toast or two for Ducati.ms forum while we are at it.
cheers all....

Tard, you are a stirring bastard, & I like it.

Come on spinners

We will see who enters the thread

Casey's got them all covered so it's a done deal I reckon.

What sort of shit will that statement make? The Yanks will be sprouting Spies & excuses but we will see.

So far we have seen that Honda has the fastest bike & Casey can ride it the fastest, so two & two makes world champion to me.

I wonder what sort of mathematics the yanks use?

I guarantee DV8RYAN will chime in & say something profoundly stupid!

Craig

This just in: Stoner just quit the Silverstone round with medical complications. It would appear that he is suffering from cramps brought on by lactose intolerance and has retired to his hotel to fart the pain away.

Apparently someone snuck some real milk in to his double non fat soy machiatto.

Not really, we just look after our own, & we don't take shit from anyone!

It is the Australian way.

Stoner really did come out the blocks and blew them all away. Scary thing for his competitors is he's just practicing! He was a half a second faster than anyone in the final sector. Wow! Sic' pulled out a hot one on his last lap of the session, otherwise Casey would be a full second faster. Really impressive first session from Casey and only 4 tenths off Lorezo's pole time from last year.
Just for interests sake Stoner's pole time last year on the Duc' was a 2.04.394.

Rossi's times are sad, but I think he treated this session as basically a 'sighting' session. He's never ridden the GP Duc' at Silverstone and he's probably just getting his braking points, and lines, worked out. He'll get faster as the weekend progresses, but he's a country mile off the pace right from the get-go, so I don't see him doing anything much this round unless it rains, which it may.

Spies, Hayden, and Dovi' are doing OK as predicted.
Crutchslows home race, I forgot about that. He knows the track well and I expect him to be up there in practice and qualifying, but fail miserably on race day as normal.
