ps deal(er) or no deal(er)

A dealer has a ps1000le with 12 miles for sale for $13.5k but a private owner has one with 300 miles for $11.5k. Now this may be a stupid question, but is 300 miles a big difference when buying this bike? A part of me likes the "security" of buying from a dealer. However, I'm not sure if that is worth $2k.

I'm going to the dealer to take a good look at the bike this weekend. If the ps1000le is everything I expect (thanks to my research AND all of your help) should I pull the trigger or hold out until I can across the state and look at the privately owned bike?

Thanks for you help and advice,
js

I agree with Robert. I have over 9,000 km on my Sport and it seems to run better than new. 300 miles is next to nothing.
Good luck and enjoy your new bike.

thanks

thanks for the response.

so you both are saying that there'll be no problems taking the "private" bike to the local dealer if there are any issues? i can't see why there would be, but i want to make sure...

i'm really anxious to get my hands, feet and body on one of these. i'm tired of researching and looking at pix/specs. thanks a bunch for your input. any additional comments are surely apprecaited.

If you are talking about a warranty item, the warranty will pass to the new owner (you) so long as the warranty period has not expired.
