Oil Cap/Pressure Gauge for GT1000
I saw a great classic Norton with an oil cap that had an integrated oil pressure gauge. I think this will be a great addition to the GT. Im wondering why no one has thought of this idea for the GT considering how KILLER it will look on the bike. If you have any ideas on how I can find this item or if you already have this MOd fill me in on some info. I want this item immediately! Im also planning on posting some pics of my two tone grey 2008 with tail chop, custom bars, mirrors, steering damper, Termis and more shortly.

Sorry, I don't see the point. If I'm going to be kept informed of something as vital as oil pressure, I don't want to have to look down at my foot to see it.
Nice looking product though.

I've got an oil temp gauge that replaces the oil fill cap and looks like that. I like it just because it makes the bike look more mechanical, and becaue people keep asking me what it is. You can get them here:

+1 Major
I have this on my triumph and it's a pain if not simply dangerous to look down just to see my temp
As we already have a temp gauge built in I really don't see the point either.
If you really want to know your oil pressure i'd rather bring it up near the gauges so I can see it in a glance. Maybe something from Jegs?
2-eech-iz-own I guess.

The point? It looks cool! Purely an aesthetic mod IMO. I'd like to have one, but I'm not going to pay that much for it.

Not sure you get enough pressure at that location to be able to measure it with a gauge. A gauge would need to tap into an oil galley somewhere.

What size
Hey Dietrich, (or anyone else that has one of these)
Which size gauge fits the GT. Is it the same as the one for the triumphs??
I am looking at getting one of these (I like the look of it) but not sure which size fits our bikes.
Thanks in advance
Drew
