The Best Day
If I hadn't been there I wouldn't have believed it. It was a cold but clear day this morning and I decided it was my duty to ride my MH900e "Carbon Dream" to work. As I'm riding the Expressway Grand Prix, a CHP (California Highway Patrol) motorcycle cop pulls up beside me and instead of giving me the "Pull over to the side of the road" signal (which I'm all to familiar with); he instead gave me a "Thumbs-Up". I could not believe it. It was about 36F and we were the only two bikes on the road. It felt neat knowing there was one other person on the road that knew what kind of bike I was riding. All the fair weather riders in their cars had to be feeling pretty left out at that moment. As soon as he was out of sight, I gased it the rest of the way to work.

Another fine PT design

Funny to see this one; I'm idling, passing time till lunch after which I will take #225 for a spin.
Added at 4:15 PM - returned about an hour ago, rode ca 80 miles .... temperatures hovering around 60F / 15C "sol luridus" or a pale sun. It was nice, much better than 2 weeks ago when temp was in the high 30's, clouds and patchy fog
Our story was a little different; exactly 3 months ago today, we took #18, #225 and #1591 out for a ride. We did get to speak with a State Trooper who informed us of a lower speed limit on that particular road than all 3 of us thought it to be. Fortunately, he let us off with a warning. More than once did he say "nice bikes"
