GT1000 Write-up in Cycle World
I received my Aug 06 Cycle World, and it has a write up on the GT1000. Finally, someone was going to give me a comprehensive write up on the ride and features of the newest production Duc.
But, as usual, Cycle World disappoints. My comprehensive ride report was all of one sentence. It reads "The bike was perfectly at home in these medium to fast bends, its steering responsive, light, precise, and progressive."
The info on the rest of the two page story you can get off the Ducati website.
I guess I'll have to wait for my Motorcyclist mag to arrive to get a real ride report.

I think T.W.O. had a short test. Bike should have one as well. i think you'll have to wait for some kind of comparo to get any lengthy comment in the states

Cycle Canada did a decent writeup in the last issue.

Thanks for the links! Seems everyone that's ridden the bike can't find too much to complain about. Good news for those of us waiting....

Well, it wasn't "in depth" but it was favorable.
"the sport classic frame is one of the stiffest and most balanced in the entire Ducati corral"
"no surprises in the engine bay . . . the sohc, dual spark, two valver has reached perfect maturity"
No real figures . . . but a nice write-up.
