If not, Rockwell Cycles up at Bear Mountain can do it, they coated my friend Karim's Sport Classic tank (he's also a member here). Just call service and ask for Nick.

JC,
I am sure you don't take it personal...... but the fewer days without my bike... the more upgrades I will have time to do.
Just spoke to the guys @ Rockwell and they can do the coating: cool:.

I do not mind at all.
My goal is to have evefyone get their tank coated so we can get on with riding and modding
Perhaps the moderators will be kind enough to start a
"GET COATED @" sticky?
This way we can have a network of local/regional reputable places to get the coating done
Cheers

Not going to fix our problems now, but let's hope the US Congress does the right thing and ends the federal subsidy for Ethanol production.

OUt of interest gents... i have now a KTM950 Supermoto which had a tank problem due to deformation. (in the UK). Plastic tank.
Replace by KTM a $0 cost to me. Bike is a 2006 and replaced this week, obviously out of warranty. $1250 is RRP on the tank and decals.

My '07 GT (bought new 7/06) was approved for it's second new tank in Oct. mostly as a "good faith" gesture. It arrived last week. I'm the original owner, same dealer, good relationship is all part of the mix. 6 year EPA-related warranty on all bikes... so the clock is running...

Does anyone know of shops doing tank coating that are close to Florida? I'm just looking for the closest place to ship my new tank.
