I got mine at MCC Cycles in Villa Park, IL. When I tried my local dealer I just got a glazed over look and was asked why I just didn't drill the original. Good question, but the anodized red, predrilled one looks better than what I could do!

We have them Randy.
I actually have one on my PS but do not use it unless it's gonna go to the track.
Right now ProItalia has one of ours instock last time i was there.
If they don't let me know.

We also have them for the deep sump engine as well
which look like this
Note;
Most tracks require these now. I know it is by Fast track riders and most AMA tracks now
Approx $30-40 bucks

I am sure most of you know that the K&N oil filters for our bikes has the safety wire hole pre-drilled into the tightening nut but for those who do not here is what they look like. Same price or less as the standard filter.

Thanks JC. I forgot to ask you if you had/knew that on Saturday.
Yes, it's for a trackday coming up. Femmoto at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. I have a house there so might as well make a weekend out of it.
They require both oil filter and drain plug safety wires. If fact, it seems like every single track day on the west coast requires it.
Our bikes comply so easily to 99% of any track day rules.
And if it fits a HyperMotard, then I'll get two.

The HM plug is the same as the SC drain plug.
Proitalia has them in stock for $39,95
BTW these have a built in magnet
Ask for Nicole, Rey or David and tell them JC of PAK Bikes sent ya.
818 249 5707 I am told they have 9 in stock.
Maybe they will give you a discount on them or free shipping.
Ask, never hurts to ask...
If I were to order just two from Japan it would cost more because of shipping.
