2009 models
I noticed that a week or so ago the California Air Resources Board approved the engines for the 2009 model sport classics. I'm assuming the engines are the same as before, so maybe this isn't proof there will in fact be 2009 models, but I think it's pretty good evidence. Anyway, does anyone have any other information on 2009 production, and maybe whether there'll be any change to the suspension?

What? you dont likethe 1952 tire and wheel technology and the 1974 suspension design?? These bikes could have been absolutely GREAT, but instead are relegated to the aftermarket for fixes that should not be necessary -the factory is building beautiful bikes with great engines BUT without the relatively inexpensive technology that would move these bikes to the forefront of their niche market. All that money!!!!!for an antique and the parts to make it really work. So what??We can dream .

Yes, they will be essentially as they are now (GT, 1000 and 1000S) with the same prices, but all will come with fully adjustable Showa forks and new rear shocks as well.

Are they going to move to the same 1100 motor thats in the HM's for the classics? I can't see the point of not doing it.
