Frustrations
My sc1000 is still parked, covered, in the underground. Waiting for at least two sunny, clear days before insuring it. Preferably non-work days. We can't seem to get a couple of non-rain days in a row. Yamaha cruiser has been out twice, both times on work days when I could carry work related gear in the bike. The SC was out for about 2 hrs in the brief sun while I polished the rear wheel. The New Westminster police who dropped by liked the bike and said that he would close his eyes if I passed him. Without the insurance or license!
All I ask is for two clear days before insuring the SC for 6 months!
Doug

In BC? In the spring? Really!
Seriously, hang in there...nice long summer coming - you and your baby will be scratching in the hills before you know it!

I've got the cure.
Ship your bike to AZ. Take a week off and get here the same time the bike does. Ride, rinse, repeat for 5 days. Ship you and the bike back home.
Generic prescription version: Rent a bike in AZ.
That outta hold you over for a couple weeks.

Hey Doug,
I've been on the road since the 3rd week of March. We've had plenty of stretches of decent weather. Quit waiting and just get it on the road. The good weather wil come soon enough, and you want to be ready for it.
P.S. Last we spoke I think you talked about selling the SC. Glad to hear you reconsidered.
