unwanted attention
hey there fellow duc lovers
was just wondering if anyone has been pulled over due to "noise pollution"?
I find myself always getting a little paranoid when in the vicinity of coppers, tho there are plenty of rowdy hogs out there with straight pipes!!
maybe i need to grow a beard, a beer pot and wear an open face, neo mask and dark glasses... oh and maybe show a tatt or two

I have not had a problem, and there are at least 3 towns around here with signs posted that they have noise ordinances in effect. I just make sure to be in "cruise" mode around those areas (i.e. short shifting and low revs).
I know in one of the towns the local LEO was giving some of the local sport bike riders some grief when stopped for lunch, but no tickets, just warnings. I think a noise infraction is really hard to prove without specialized equipment. I guess you could get a fix it ticket, but have not heard of that happening to anyone on here....

I'm never concerned . . . but the baffles are still in my Termis. Most Harleys make a lot more noise than I do and around here Harleys are plentiful.

NSW here, haven't been so much as looked at yet, apparently they have bigger fish to fry than loud motorbikes. I think half the lawyers in town ride Harleys on the weekend - that might have something to do with it.

after riding beside my buddy's fat boy with V&H pipes i realise mine arent that loud...as a matter of fact, i can't hear my bike or anything at all when i am beside him....and thats with baffles in.
and the tunnel thing, we have a blocks worth of railway over passes....and parkades are always fun, especially on a busy shopping weekend.
