PowerCommander LCD Display

Does anyone know if I can put a powercommander controller with this optional LCD display on my SC1000s? There is no listing on their website for a power commander compatible with the Sportclassics. The company states the LCD screen works with the PowerCommander III USB.

Thanks
Frank

I've been goofing around with the mapping software from the Rapid Bike III. It allows you to infinitely adjust the fuel injection mapping, ignition mapping as well as a host of other cool tweaks like RPM limit and Fuel Pump calibration.

Here's a couple of screen shots. Note, I'm using the mapping from a Multistrada to illustrate the software.

Mike,

Where does the unit sit in the bike? The PC for my 04 GSX-R750 fit in behind the battery tray in the frame under the tail section.

For the PS, outside of putting it in the small storage compartment in the tail section, I'm not sure where it would go. The original owner had a Termi 2 into 1 full exhaust fitted and I'm sure that re-mapping would see inmprovements in power delivery.

Thanks,

Jim

Thanks, I read all 3 pages of the linked thread on the PC. That said, it raised more questions than it answered.

My PS has theTermi 2 into 1 full exhaust system. According to the sale papers I got from the original owner, it was installed by the Ducati dealer prior to it leaving the showroom floor. Would they have automatically also installed the DP chip along with the system? The sale papers make no mention of a DP chip or any cost associated with it. Could the delaer have only installed the full system with no downside?

On my ST2, when my FBF system was installed, the chip upgrade was done at the same time. Thanks for any help. There is no Ducati dealer within 3 hours of Memphis, so getting any professional assistance will involve a weekend road trip to Nashville.

The Termi 2-1 comes with the racing air filter cover and dedicated performance ECU. If the dealer installed the exhaust, they sure as hell better have installed these too. Gotta love that sound of the Termis without baffels.

What BISHOP-BUCK said. Exhaust, lid and ECU all come in the same box, nothing else to buy/order.

Jim,

The box is only about 2" square. On my GT there is plenty of room under the seat. Up above or behind the airbox is another location.
