Megaphone style exhausts

For those of you running reverse megaphone exhausts on your bikes......how do you like the sound? Its different i know, kind of raspy. I'm not a sport classic owner, I have a monster s2r with the ds1000 motor, same as in your classics. I want to get away from the cylindrical chambered and sounding silencers most put on. The s2r has a tad of cafe essence in it, hence the reason I'm interested in the style. Choices are very limited. I'm looking at marvings specifically. Any thoughts?

You need these, the only cans that look nicer then the OE ones in my opinion.

Exhausts DUCATI - MONSTER S2R 1000 - SPORT - Silencers - MIVV

No idea where you'll get them in the US though.

perhaps the 2 into 1 term full system could fit the S2R.. that would be the best choice IMO.

I am about to publish here a review and install tech on a pair of Supertrapp slip-on stainless mufflers to my SC. I really like them (the short version). Stay tuned!

It is designed to be bolted on but it can be welded if the header is also stainless steel.
The reducer that connects the pipe is tapered, so you can cut off the excess or leave it.

Here's a clip taken on my Monster with heavily built up 966....and reverse cone megaphones we whipped up for it. I'm sure it would sound similar on a DS motor...You cant see them in the video but you sure as heck can hear em ...turn up your speakers .....

I'd like very much to see this. Please include details of which exact model you use, and the lenght and bend angle of any adapters you need. And lots of pics!
