UK Sport Classic owners

Scott has offered to start a UK forum in the regional section if there is sufficient interest. See the thread in 'Ducati Chat':

The Sport Classic section is great for updates & information swapping across the pond, across Europe & with our mates on the other side of the rock. Might be nice to have a regional forum to organise UK meetings, rideouts etc.

I'm ambivelent to a specific UK section as I only use this section for info on the SC.

I did use Ducatisti but the last random unannounced shutdown killed off it's very small SC section which did nevertheless have some good info and contacts in it and this latest shutdown was the last straw.
I have absolutely no sympathy for the owner on this matter, lots of us have kids, but to petulantly turn off a very busy site with no notice whatsoever was kicking the users(some of them financial supporters) in the teeth because he couldn't be arsed to think about anyones problems but his own despite many offers of help.
If it comes back I may try and get some of the info from it but I dont care anymore and it perhaps it's better off dead.

There are other sites you can still use for the social side of things, I was on DuN but dont use it as much as I used to.
This site is too slow for me with the many adverts taking too long for each page to load,for that reason alone I wouldn't use it for any other reason than the one I do.

I think that's a great idea.

Then we can all talk about our bikes on the general model pages, but when it comes to meets, buying and selling kit, where location is key, we can scoot over to a UK members page.

Considering how crap the SC split sections were on the UK site I reckon it will benefit us Sport Classic owners more than most.
