Mono to bi conversion for 17k?

This guy converted his 06 mono to bi and wants 17k for it. I see the value of ohlins, akrapovic exhaust and it all adds up - but jeez I can find a paul smart with add-ons for much less. And why pay for the bi conversion? If I want a bi, I will find a bi for much less.
