Need a center stand for GT1000

So I just mounted a full set of Hepco & Becker Junior luggage (side bags and top box - all 40 liter) and am a bit concerned with the side stand being mounted to the engine.

I asked Ducati Seattle about ordering one and they say there are none in the system, or at least the dealers that use the same inventory program. I assume that Ducati is not having any more made.

Does anybody know where to find one, either new or used? Are there any aftermarket versions available?

PS The H&B luggage seems to be high quality, as good as my previous BMW and secure. Looks very nice imho. And I must have gotten lucky; Capitol Cycle had everything in stock and I received it within 4 days of my order. Bags, frames, luggage rack, top box rack and back rest...

Sorry to tell you but you missed the center stand run by about 2 years. You'd have to be lucky to find some NOS in some remote corner of the DUC globe. And worth every cent if you can find one.

That's a nice bit of kit. I love mine. I purchased my H&P bags through these guys, but it all took awhile to arrive.

Too bad about the center stand. That's going to be hard to find. These guys list a few GT1000 accessories. It might be worth a call. And if you're looking as far away as Seattle, you might try calling Moto Corsa in Portland, too.

desperately seeking, too

I have the same problem, I also really, really need a center stand, but I can't find one.

Could there be the possibility to re-built a stand from an example?
Perhaps using a still-on-the-market-stand from another model?

Seems to be easier than a aluminum tank to me - isn't there a metal- (or welding-) wizard out there?

When I was looking through the Hepco & Becker site choosing luggage, I noticed that they make aftermarket center stands, however not for the Ducati. I guess it's possible that some company might...

What about using a centre stand from an Sports Tourer series ST2, ST3 or 4,

Would they be suitable?

if I only would know ...

Perhaps someone who knows a little more about both, ST and SportClassics, can answer this.

The easiest way would be to compare the two stands ... but for this, I need to have a GT stand first - or at least some good pictures.

St stands do not fit a GT,I got one from an ST2 in the mistaken understanding that it might work,it won't. The mounting brackets are completely different.
