I'm doing a "chop mod" on my airbox, and will be needing an appropriate sealer so I thought I'd throw this one out for suggestions.
I'm adapting DucShop Hyperstacks into the base of the stock airbox. They'll be sealed inside the airbox by use of a heavy rubber "sleeve" that will (hopefully) be under a little compression, squeezing them lightly down against the floor of the airbox. To seal them to the box, I imagine some kind of high-temp silicone sealer that will remain flexible over time/heat would be optimal.
Any suggestions?
(I'll post a whole thread on the final project when it's complete and successful, or else I'll slink away into the shadows and hope that everyone forgets this...
