I am under the impression that only the GT has different wheels, and the rest have the same wheels.

The story is my friend has a paul smart and he ordered a set of genuine spokes at a cost of £400 wow!!!! He took spokes and wheels to wheel builder who had to put a bend in them to make them fit, thus making them shorter cracking the chrome and they now show threads above the nipples coz the bend made them shorter.Hes not happy!!!

I don't have a part number but you may be able to obtain spokes in varying materials from the following:

Central Wheel Components Limited

http://www.hagon-shocks.co.uk/common/pdf/wheels2011.pdf

I note you are in Lincoln, so you could try ordering via Italia Moto if you want to try obtaining Ducati parts (not sure they are still available - you'll have to ask).

The original spokes are known for corroding. This applies to all OEM Sport Classic wheels as they all used steel spokes. The above suppliers may be able to offer choices including galvanised & stainless spokes.

Callaly - Rudolphs' reccomendation on Central Wheel Components is ace.

They've recently rebuilt my 1000S wheels with hand made stainless steel double butted spokes which were then black chromed. I delivered the wheels to their works in Birmingham and must say their facility is really good.

Cost to remove tyres, dismantle wheels, hand make spokes, black chrome, rebuild wheels, fit tyres and balance was about £350. Brilliant piece of work, and the stainless spokes will last a life time.

Drop me a line if you'd like to know more. Or just call the number on the website Rudolph has provided.

Cheers
