E15 and H.R. 3199

Talk to your federal representatives to support this Resolution.

15% alcohol is all we need!

Don't take a backseat to this, if 10% f#$ked up your tank, what will 15% do? Of course they are exempting bikes, but how many gas stations that you know will keep a "bike and older than 2001 vehicle" pump?

The irony is that ethanol production is turning out worse for the environment than anyone thought.

And, that we actually, the USofA, manufacture so much fuel that it is one of our largest exports, but we say that ethanol is needed to conserve fuel....

Plus, the tests that have been run on the E15 by Mercury on boat engines find that it makes them run too hot, and they're water cooled, creating premature heat related failure. As early as 300 hours on some of the engines. Now then, what would that do to an air cooled Duc or Harley, or ???

Meassge sent...

I just sent an email to my Representative asking him to support the no E15 bill. For the sake of our machines lets hope the use E15 does not come to pass. If you are too lazy to do your own letter there is a form letter available on the AMA site. It will only take you 5 minutes. DO IT NOW!!!

What and where is this site? A URL would be helpful.
