Magnesium looking clutch cover and left engine stator cover

I just bought a sport 1000s and the PO had the clutch cover and left engine stator cover powder coasted magnesium color to look like the NCR race version or older mh900Es.

What do you guys think? I didn't like it at first and it is slowly growing on me. Anyone wanna swap with black ones?

I think I would keep it on that bike, I like the look with the red. Or you could swap them for real NCR magnesium ones

Looks good on that bike, But each his own. I do like how the tail light is tucked under the seat and not tilted downward like on some others that have done it. Your bike looks great. Plus they draw attention away from those exhaust hangers.

Although I like my black cases on my black and getting blacker bike, I think the gold or natural mag cases make the red and that NCR bike look way more vintage and racy. I'd say stay with it, or colour match the mag cases, but don't go back to black.

Good point about the hangers. I don't get how they designed such a gorgeous bike and then put that ugly black triangle on it.

You can put the NCR left side on, But you can't use the clutch side.

Unless you convert to a dry clutch

Nice rearsets and pegs. Would love to know which ones. Do you like them?

Also, what is a good source for the fairing extensions?

Thanks.
