Question Napoleon bar-end mirror disassembly. Possible?

Is it possible to remove the Napoleon-style bar-end mirror glass without destroying it?

Not to my knowledge. But the question is why are you wanting the remove the glass? Trying to black out the chrome perharps?

It's a long story.
Let's just say, I had a single Napoleon bar-end and I needed a mate.
So I got one from ebay. According to the pictures and description it is supposed to match, but it didn't.
So I tried again. And again.
In the end I ended up with four rectangular Napoleon-style bar end mirrors and they are all slightly different.
At first I was angry and frustrated.
By now it's like watching a funny movie every time I open the box.
I didn't even know, so many variations were in existence.
If I could swap some mirrors with some stems I can have one exactly matching pair.
But to do that I need to remove the glass and be able to reinstall it afterwards. That is assuming that the mirror part can even be dismounted from the pivoting knuckle at the end of the stem, if access is gained from inside.
So there - you know my story.
It's OK to laugh.
