Class Action Poll
Since the fuel tank class action comment period is over early next week just wondered what you might have done.
If you used Izaak's form letter, you opted out as well as objected to the settlement.
I hope that if you opted out on your own that you sent in an objection to the settlement as well.
If you did nothing, well you did nothing.

What kind of poll is this and what do you guys think opting out will gain you?
I hope you bone heads didn't opt out but protested the settlement. that was our only possible path for a realistic settlement.
If you opt out and the settlement is accepted you will retain your right to sue but you know you wont and you'll still be bound be the terms of the settlement.
All of us will have to live with the consequences of this decision no matter if you opt out or not.
The poll needs a choice for objecting to the settlement.

Good points,
If you used Izaak's form letter you opted out and you objected to the settlement.
I suspected...I know....that if you opted out with your own letter you had also objected.
If you did nothing, you accepted inclusion into the class action.
You're right the wording is not what it should be. I'll see what I can do, delete it and start over would be the best, not sure if or how to do that though.

I did nothing, because I didn't know about it. What's the deal with the class action, and why would one object to it? Is it too late to get in on it, assuming I don't object?

I'm sorry but it clearly states that if you opt out of the suit you are not allowed to object to the settlement.
You can only state your objections if you remain a class member. If you opted out your objection will not be considered in the case.

I remained in the class but objected to the settlement with protestation letters. Flynbulldog is correct. Howard Johnson is correct. The sheriff is a near.

I didn't opt out because I don't think there will be enough opt-outers left to do another class action suit at a later date.

Please put up a correct poll. I'm clearly not competent, nor capable. Thanks. If I knew how, I'd delete this poll and thread.
