SC Cowl question - all the same?

Trying to get a definitive answer on this - Are all the plastic cowl/cover pieces for the SC monoposto the same? I.E. - Will a 2007 cowl/cover work on a 2006? Just making sure.

Thanks!

Yes. even the cowl from the biposto fits a monoposto.

Really? I'm nearly positive that's not true. The cowl on a mono is not (easily) removable, whereas the cowl on the biposto is able to be taken off and has a seat underneath.

I took my Biposto cowl, removed the padded bit (2 easy screws) and fit it on a mono comfort seat without any issues whatsoever.

How do you remove a mono cowl? Is it 4 little screws under the seat? If so, that's the same as the biposto and there should be no issues with fitment.

That said, perhaps a mono cowl doesn't have the screw fitments inside to mount the extra padded bit, which would the mean that it may not fit on a BIPOSTO perfectly since the gap between the cowl and the seat wouldn't be covered by the extra padded bit.

makes sense?

But for the sake of our friend's question: All 2007 cowls (from a biposto I assume) will fit on all 2006 seats (monos), since I did it.

Thanks very much for the response! Actually, all I needed to know was if a cowl/cover from a newer 07 or 08 mono would work on an 06 mono. Mono e mono.

Thanks!

All 2006s and the 2007 SE were momoposto, all other 2007s and all Sport Classic afterwards were biposto.
