Alpina Carbon Matrix.... I mean HOW nice ?

New Today… Ducati Dual Sport 1000 Alpina Carbon Wheel Set Ducati Commonwealth Motorcycles

One of the lads was just telling me about these for my KTM 950smr... then mentioned about the SC versions. Even though i don't have my SC any more, my mate has mine and the wife still has a 749 so i'm OK to post here still i think.

Bloody lovely them

So, they are aluminum wheels with carbon-fiber hydrographics - right?
Not real carbon wheels

Actually they are stronger then All carbon wheels
Alpina Carbon Matrix is a special technology developed in the aerospace industry and widely adopted by aircraft producers such as Boeing or Airbus: this is the lightest alloy composition available (7075) and is bonded together with carbon fibre with a special patented process using a 3M ceramic bonding material: in this way it is possible to reduce the thickness and the weight of the alloy, at the same time increasing the rigidity and strength of the rim.

The patented Carbon Matrix motorcycle rims adopted by Alpina are tested by the best racing teams with excellent results: These Carbon Matrix rims are the ultimate development in technology (30% lighter and 25% harder than traditional alloy rims)
