Impact "airbag" jackets?

Anyone on here use these? They don't look so bad and any extra protection from crazy la drivers seems like good idea. Not sure if it's worth it compared to a heavy duty jacket.

dont own one yet but am planning on visiting d-store san fran in a few weeks and am and hoping to check them out.

might only be available on the full race suit until next year, cant remember if the street jackets are out yet...
