Cool GT1000 Conti Replicas by Keihan - Metal Art!

So I ordered the stainless Conti silencer slip-on kit fro my GT1000 from Keihan Systems in UK a few weeks ago and today I received the package. All I can say is that I AM SPEECHLESS.

I don't care if you like classic motorcycles, or motorcycles at all. If you're a guy, you must love things made of metal. And If you do - you gonna LOVE these things. They are, for a lack of a better word - like a giant friggin' jewelery for guys (who like bikes).
Several pounds of liquid-like metal awesomeness.

The quality is outstanding. I tried to capture the detail of the finish, the welds, the slim ad super-sexy silhouette. Even the baffles and brackets are like small pieces of metal art.
I will mount them tomorrow and take some pictures on the bike.

Here are a few pictures, straight out of the box. Enjoy!

This last picture is an attempt to capture the level of workmanship quality - the "ring" detail is actually a weld, if you can believe it... this one is exposed and shaped/polished to perfection - there are other welds on each silencer that are basically invisible. I do not think you could find a better quality pipe if you tried. And I am positive you won't find one near this quality for a comparable price.

I know I'm probably repeating the same praises spoken many a time before, but so what?!
If you were thinking of getting those, but were hesitating, don't.
Kris

I got them direct from Keihan Systems in UK. The turn-around time was 2 weeks, shipping by DHL took 2 days. Excellent communication and superb customer service.

They are an amazing firm. I've dealt with them several times and have always been pleased.

+1

Although I'm very happy with the Termis on my GT1000, I did replace the OEM silencer & collector box on a BMW R80 with some of Keihan's finest. Glad to see they have maintained the excellent quality of their workmanship.

Kept that Beemer for many years & rode it in all weathers. The pipes always cleaned up like new.

Glad to hear you're so happy with the purchase. I have to agree there's an appeal to polished metal that goes beyond functionality. I bought Conti Replicas from Pipemasters and think they've enhanced my GT in a very seamless and period-appropriate way.

You'll no doubt love the new sound as well. Congrats.

I've had Keihans on my S for a couple of years and have been very pleased with them.
Even with the baffles in they still sound great.
