Project : Caffe Corse

So I swapped this 1991 900ss in a not so nice condition for my OEM Paul Smart wheels.
I guessed it would make a nice cafe racer so I got to work ...

Chopped of the tail and rewelded it :

Got this CR seat that I liked :

I found a nice 70's SS fairing :

It is starting to look ok I guess :

Next u pwill be fitting and securing both fairing and seat and probably I'm gonna look for a tank a bit lower, like the pre 90's SS tanks.

I'll keep you guys posted.

Cheers,

KS.

PS. : Caffe Corse is Italian for Coffee Racing. I'l probably be painting the frame and wheels a cappucino foam beige and the body parts cappucino brown or something in that style.

The sides of the seat will be made longer to fill in the gap so the bodywork follows the line of the frame.

And I got me this blasting cabinet to bead blast al my engine parts and such.
Cheap and comes in very handy.

It's a table model, but I just took a pic when getting it out of the box.
I just do it in the shed

Holy crap. I love this stuff. I keep hoping all the parts I have in boxes downstairs will just assemble themselves on some night to surprise me.

Rock on.
