Davida helmet for my GT1000
Are Davida Jet helmets really that nice, or just over-hyped?
I'm looking for the right helmet to match my two-tone GT1000 and I'm deciding between the Davida jet classic in cream/black or Bell Custom 500 in black also.
The Bell is 1/4 of the price compared to Davida, at least locally...
Anyone familiar with these choices and can share an opinion?

The new line of Bell helmets are really nice
They are called the McQueen series
I saw them ay EICMA and I was impressed with the build quality
They should be out soon

You can't compare these two helmets… the Davida is handmade, the interior is real leather and you can choose from countless colours/combinations or do your own design.
I'd not buy the jet classic model… the shape is not very nice.
The best one to go for is called Speedster… but is only available up to size L.

I'm not a fan of getting a helmet to match the bike,I'm a fan of keeping my head together in a crash.dress for the crash not the ride.

You are right, but in this case the discussion is annoying + we had it so often here…

True, a proper helmet is a given. Some bikes just beg for a different style.

I think they are already sold in Europe as Bell R-T.
I agree, they look very nice.
BTW, the European variety of Bell helmets in general is vast. Many great styles, unavailable in NA.

No comparison… the interior of the Airborn is entirely made of luxury french leather and uses some sort of memo foam that always ensures perfect fit
