Bluetooth Helmet Headset...?
Does anyone have a bluetooth headset in their Helmet? Does anyone have any input on aftermarket bluetooth helmet setups? I can't decide if they are worth the investment or not.

I have a scala rider on mine. used the heck out of it when my buddy and I rode... He moved and I rarely use it now. They are ok, but can be distracting. Mine comes with FM radio and I don't use it... I like to hear my pipes and surroundings...

Not to hijack, but any pics of how you have your phone mounted?

Try the Blue Ant F4. Works great with both my iphone and GPS. Been using Blue Ant for years and never had any problems.

I have a Sena SMH10 kit and have been using it for just over a month. It's excellent. A few points...
>I have it paired to a Garmin Zumo 660 and make/receive calls (iPhone 4), control music and hear turn by turn gps instructions using the 660 as a "glove friendly base".
>Everyone that calls me or that I talk to doesn't comment that it's loud and they so far haven't noticed that I'm on the bike until I tell them. The noise canceling mic helps.
>Tested the intercoms out a couple of weeks ago with a riding buddy that has one now another as well. They are near perfect, crystal clear sound quality, no delays, sounds like the person is next to you.
>IF you're using it w/o a gps, receiving calls is fine but the voice dialing is just average at best and this may be a limitation of the iPhone 4. Maybe the 4S is better in this category.
>Speaker volume is ok depending on your helmet, wind noise etc. You have to play around with the location of the speakers somewhat to get it where you like it. Sound quality is a tiny bit better when using direct to the audio device/phone but the convenience of being able to change music, dial from the autoload phonebook etc. is worth it. People said that the phone was a tiny bit more clear before I started using the 660 as the main interface. This is because with the phone paired to the Sena, it's super clear but when you use the 660 as the main interface, you don't pair the phone with the Sena, you pair the 660/GPS with the Sena and the phone with the 660/GPS. This degrades the sound quality a little bit.
Hope that mini review helps, everyone I've spoken to from the bike that was considering a helmet h/s, bought a Sena and that's in about a month. You won't regret it... Just be careful for the first week or so, esp. if you get a GPS, lots of new distractions and tinkering while moving...

Love my Scala G4, especially when I go adv riding with my buddies (they all have them too)
Easy to use, and works as advertised.

+1 Scala G4, Iphone and 665 GPS- works great! (I use in-ear molded monitors to cut out wind noise)
