Quieter helmet.
My last bike had a small screen so the wind noise wasn't too bad.
The GT being naked up front(the bike not me) is definetly noisier.
As usuall money is a bit tight so I modified my existing AGV helmet.
1.Wedged a small piece of foam infront of the chin space.
2.Shoved a piece of cloth inbetween the liner & shell on the front part of the helmet.
The cloth is then tucked down your jacket or wrapped around the neck.
Believe it or not it really made a difference & cost nothing!!!!
Yes I am still saving for the pipes.

Have you tried earplugs?
Some people can't stand earplugs. I can't stand to be without them. I use E.A.R Classic Plugs which I buy by the box. They eliminate quite a bit of noise but I can still hear what I need to hear.

I tried earplug phones (with an autocom) yesterday for the first time. Initially, I didn't like the feel of the earplug, but what a difference in the noise. I felt like I was gliding. I could hear other sounds, including the loud car next to me and the stereo on the bike next to me, but there was no rush of wind. I doubt I'll ride without them again. The only minor thing I have to get used to is shifting with less motor noise. At times, I found myself in a lower gear than usual.

As in the two previous posts, I recommend your try ear plugs. Makes a big difference. I never ride without them.

Ditto to the habitual use of earplugs. As a near-60 year old who spent to many hours in front of a very loud Marshall amp I can tell you: Protect your hearing. Wind noise for extended periods is enough to cause permanent and not subtle damage.
Good plugs - Hearos are an example - eliminate the overly loud sounds without appreciably effecting the timber (aural quality) of the sound. I personally get mine through my musician's shop.
An no, this is wimpy. Its wise. Just like a Navy Seal wearing ear protection on the firing range. (And if you shoot I hope yiou do THAT too!)

Ditto the use of earplugs, I also heard about someone who got nerve damage from cold air blowing thru the ear. Not sure if it is true or not.

I normally use ear plugs. The bike is so quiet with stock pipes I was struggling to hear what the motor was up to eg over revving or labouring.
Sounds ironic but once the new pipes are on the ear plugs will go in!

Started wearing earplugs several years ago, and always smile when reading helmet reviews that complain of unpleasant noise levels....earplugs are like beer goggles -- they make all the helmets sound beautiful
