My new 900SS has finally arrived
My new 900SSie has finally come. I've had her for about two weeks but have been unable to ride and she's only got 22km on the clock.
Must be the only one of its kind on my continent, i.e. Senna H/f.

The only sad part is that one of the other toys will have to go Bye-bye and it looks like it will be the mad-mad TL1000................

I really like the grey/red color and had not seen this on a 1/2 fairing version. Nice!

Honestly that is the ONLY SSie I have seen that I like. (Sorry guys.) My only question, are the belt covers usually that color or is it just a lighting thing. (They draw my eye/attention to them too much.) Best of luck with her and enjoy.

Congratulations on the new ride, I only saw a F/F Senna once in SA. What mods will follow?

FJ, Andre Nel (gorma900) saw the F/F Senna (a 1000DS) in Pretoria. The guy low sided shortly after buying it and then was trying to sell it. Its most probably in Boksburg now and been painted purple.
The covers are a very light grey and the African sun just makes them appear brighter. Though compared to my 750 the motor colouring is totally different.
The first mod is to vent the clutch cover, been done already. The airbox snorkels have gone before the first run.
I'm then playing with the idea of other slip-ons or coring my standard exhausts. I may go with the later but do a full core job myself, as I have my own Mig welding setup, but just need to set aside some time to do a decent job.
The bike will be used at times two up, so I would prefer to core the standard cannister which are more hardy to passenger boots. Although the Arrows on the 750 do fit and are the low ones which would do this task as well. Decisions, decisions...................

Wish mine had the chunky swingarm…
Compared to the 750, is there a noticeable performance difference?

FJ, once I've got the bike run-in I'll do a comparative test and let you guys know. There does seem to be more grunt low down.
What is noticeable straight off is the 1cm in handlebar height and the different screen.
The only thing I've noticed so far is the induction noise of the 900 is far greater than the 750, so it must be pulling lots more air.
On the road I haven't yet felt any difference in the handling, my 750 has Showa's front and rear(not a sachs).
