Anyone need rearsets for your Carbie? (not an ad)
As many of you know, I waste far too much on my SS (as many of you do too).
But I just got these Cycle Cat "racing" rearsets and they are super quality and super cheap.
Now, I'm tellin' ya cuz I luv ya, not cuz I "get" anything from telling you.
(discaimer: I have no affiliation with this vendor other than I buy lotsa bits from them when they are on sale)
http://www.bigdaddydeals.com/browse....rs&make=ducati
They are not adjustable, but move the peg back 1" and up 1". They are the old "Cheetah" line that they decided not to pursue because they couldn't hit the price point they were after, so they're blowing out at 175$ including shipping. (the ad says msrp was 190 but that's wrong, their target was 250 but was unprofitable at that price so they never really went into production after the first run).
Hope this helps someone who's SS is in need of lovin'

Those look nice. I would love to do rearsets but at 6"5' I can't afford to loose the legroom.

Thanks for the link.
I did not plan on doing rearsets but I could not pass that deal up. They are much nicer than the stock rearsets.
I will put up a photo when I get them mounted.
See ya, Ed

I forgot to mention that you lose the brake light switch. I don't think it's a big deal as I rarely use the rear brake on the street and if I do it would be in conjuction with the front.
Bruntr, glad I could help.

Same thing on my Bandit 1200 when I went with ValterMoto rearsets.
Nicely cured with a hydraulic pressure brake switch (around $20)
Most rearsets will require this.
Thanks again, Ed

Thanks again, Ed

No sliver??
Hey Ess-Ess-
Thanks for the ad. I'd like a set of these. Went to the site though and could not find any silver. Three separate ads for the same gold-'uns. Not sure why. Tried everything I could think of and never took me to a silver option.
I left a message on the "contact" site.
I also notice that the site indicates that there may be cosmetic irregularities. Any idea what that might entail?
Thanks
Pasophisto

They had 4 sets of Silver and 5 sets of Gold. When someone buys them they disappear from the page, so I guess the silver are sold out (DesmoEd bought a set and bruntr bought 1 or 2).
I'm told the gold are "very gold"
